Trees speak to my soul. They just live here, giving us all the best they have. Shade, oxygen, lumber, fruit. What would we be without them?! When I was a kid, I asked for a Black Maple tree for my birthday. I wanted something beautiful that would be part of my family home even if I was long gone. I just found them fascinating. That image stays with me even now, the glory of that tree. I like to imagine the little things living in a tree like that. Chipmunks and squirrels and birds.
