As a huge fan of horror films, from time to time I’ll find myself creating pieces that focus on mental health or emotions with the subject matter being from known horror films. I loved the Hellraiser series as a child and found the main antagonist, Pinhead, a somewhat tragic character in a way. Though he comes off as cold and murderous, I see another side that finds a being trying ti help others find heightened levels of feeling and sensation because he himself is so EMPTY.

Shawn Coss (Gonna speak in third person here) has been a professional dark artist for the past 25 years and has never once had a solo art show.
Though featured in gallery shows in LA, Chicago and Cleveland, Shawn has finally decided to make his final art show ever be his first ever solo event.
Featuring over 40 pieces of artwork that span the last decade in oversized in your face glory, the show - A Digital Death - is his farewell to the art gallery scene.
What better place for a final farewell than at Shawn's high school friend's Cuyahoga Falls gallery, Up Front Art Space.
